Introduction
Siklesh trekking is short and most popular trekking destination in Annapurna trekking trail. Sikles probably the second largest Gurung village in Nepal is located to the north-east of pokhara at about 2000m. Elevation and is well known for its well preserved Gurung culture. The major attraction of this village is traditional Gurung lifestyle, handicraft production, local cloth weaving tradition and the ancient water-driven flourmills. The flower forest of rhododendron is also one of the highlight of this region.since, the village lies in the shadow of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal; one can observe the panoramic view of these two peaks. This place is also famous as a point from where one can observe avalanches thundering down of the mountain sides. This is one of the areas where only a few tourists can be seen. Farther continues the trek to Ghale Gaun. It is a very popular for doing the home stay trek.
Taking advantage of such a unique location, Ghalegaun- a picturesque hamlet of about 106 Gurung style houses, has recently been marketed as a new destination to experience Village tourism. Accordingly quite a number of houses have been prepared for domestic and international visitors with comfortable basic amenities.
Besides the scenic extravaganza of the peaks, the warm and sincere hospitality of the Gurung people is also bound to overwhelm the visitors. Here food items such as grain, vegetable, meat, milk, eggs, are all locally produced and are indeed for any chemical fertilizers. In addition, the life-style of the village truly reflects an exotic living ethnic tradition handed down since ages.

Day to day itinerary
Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu
Namaste & welcome to Himalayan Planet of Nepal. While you landed at the Tribhuvan intl. airport Nepal Himalaya Guide representative welcomes you with your name and assists to transfer in your hotel in Kathmandu. After time to get refreshed, bring you at head office and briefing about the program and evening we’ll pick up you for welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurant with cultural program in the heart of Kathmandu and overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: A Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
After your breakfast to head on for our guided day trip to world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley and visit the highlights of Kathmandu and the surrounding areas. We take you to visit the pilgrimage sites of Hindus temple Pashupatinath, one of the most important shrine of Shiva temples on the subcontinent which is place of thousand of devotees, Saddhus (holy men/Baba), and can be seen the cremating body most of the times in the holy riverbank of Bagmati. Hundreds of monkeys are giggling with you and take a time to exploring surrounding area and visit Bouddhanath stupa an another pilgrimage centre which is most popular and important place for Buddhist. You can explore with rounding prayer wheel and flattering colorful flag with melodious chanting noise.
After visiting Bouddhanath stupa we’ll drive to the City of Devotees (Bhaktapur). This traditional and traffic free town is the third biggest town in the Valley. We’ll explore the medieval like squares, courtyards and temples of this vibrant town. After a stop for lunch at restaurant in Bhaktapur it’s time to drive back to Kathmandu and meet up with your travel consultant & fellows to prepare for next day and overnight at the hotel. Alternatively, the same group may have option to choose same 3 sightseeing place inside Kathmandu valley instead of these given place.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara valley
With a morning wake up guide will pick up you and transfer to the tourist bus station and drive (approximately seven hours with breaks) through the beautiful river view & Nepalese countryside to reach the Pokhara lakeside and transfer to the hotel and rest of the time explore the surrounding lakeside areas and overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Pokhara to Bijayapur by bus. Trek to Kalikasthan
We leave Pokhara early in the morning after a breakfast and drive till Kalikasthan but we recommend you to do trekking of 2 hours walking from where you will observe the massif views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Mt. Annapurna I, Machhapurchre, Gangapurna, Mt. Manaslu, Ngadi Chuli, Himal Chuli and many more mountains with Begnas Lake view from the top while walking. From Bijayapur, we climb up to Kalikasthan. In the evening, enjoy nice views of Pokhara city and Begnas Lake.

Day 05: Kalikasthan to Lamachour
After the breakfast, we trek downhill to river valley passing through the waterfalls. It takes about 4 hour walk through the village and jungle and reach the lamachour.

Day 06: Lamachour to Sikles
After the breakfast at Lamachour, climb up to Sikles through dense rhododendron forest. Sikles is the Nepal’s second largest gurung village from where you can see the Himalayan panorama and close view of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II and Manaslu.

Day 07: Full day explore around Sikles
This day is the excursion day around the Gurung village of sikles. The major attraction of this village is traditional Gurung lifestyle, handicraft production, local cloth weaving tradition and the ancient water driven flourmills. The flower forest of rhododendron is also one of the highlight of this region.

Day 08: Sikles to Bhaisikharka
After breakfast, the journey to the next destination of the day begins. It takes about six hours trek from Sikles to Bhaisikharka.

Day 09: Bhaisikharka to Ghale Gaon
After breakfast, the trek descends down towards Ghale Goan. On the way, the trail passes through the rhododendron forest. Ghale Gaun was named as second village tourism destination after Sirubari of Syanja, we can see the panoramic view of many Himalayas, such as Bouddha Himal, Himalchuli, and Manasulu in the East, Lamjung Himal and Annapurna on the North and the peak of Machhapuchare on the west.

Day 10: Ghale Gaon to Besisahar, via Khudi
After the breakfast, treks down from Ghale Gaon to Khudi. On the way you will pass through dense jungle and Lama Gaon. We have Lunch at a local restaurant at Khudi. Again trek from Khudi to Besisahar along the bank of Marsyangdi River. Besisahar is the headquarter of Lamjung district.

Day 11: Besisahar to Kathmandu
It's a hot, six hour drive back to Kathmandu, so we'll try to head off early and stop for lunch en route back. It is a different world back in the Nepali hills, and the gentle light sends us on our way back to the bustle of Nepal's capital.

Day 12: Leisure at Kathmandu
This is a full day at leisure to rest and relax, to explore the local area and perhaps do a bit of last minute shopping at the heart of Kathmandu valley. You also have the option of doing some sight-seeing including Bhaktapur and Patan. Afterwards, you will have an evening farewell dinner with your crew and overnight at Hotel.

Day 13: Departure from Kathmandu
Today’s is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. If departing, you’ll be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.
